Time For Remembering

Green trees surround me, silence me
Only memory for company
Layers and veils of golden moments
Through the pathway of a lifes journey
Imagesof a real world from
The plastic box in the corner of my room
Men in suits over confident
On my TV screen
They know their stuff
Or do they?
What is real? What is not?
My dreams are of yesterday
When I was real, they flood in
Capturing my imagination
Wanting to live again
Crisp cold midnights
Sprinkling starlight diamonds
On rustling autumn leaves
Carpeting a shadowy hillside
In the park
After winter,
Butterfly kisses on silky skin
Wet with salt sea
Baked brown in yellow sunlight
On white sand.
It was all over
In a moment.
